
The Douglas Library Children’s Department will present its fall Storytime session beginning the week of Sept. 14th, 15th & 16th, 2010. Registration is required for each six-week session and a waiting list is provided if space is unavailable. Registration forms will be available August 16th thru Sept. 10th in the Children’s Dept.
Tuesday 10 AM For 2 and 3 year olds
Wednesday 1 PM For 4 and 5 year olds
Thursday 10 AM For 0 to 2 year olds (Baby & Me)
A parent, grandparent or caregiver must accompany two and three year olds in program room during class. Four and five year olds may attend “on their own” if behavior is not an issue and an adult is on the floor. Parent or caregiver must be available for craft portion of the program for all age groups. Crafts are prepared for the number of children registered to attend each session, we are sorry but we cannot accommodate drop-ins. Stories, crafts and other activities will be age appropriate. There is no food or beverages allowed in the library, we ask parents to please not bring in sippy cups or snack food. Bottles are the only exception for infants. Cell phone use is not allowed in library; please turn off cell phones during Storytime. Registration forms will be available to the public at the Children’s Department circulation desk.

There are no “make-up” sessions scheduled for holidays or inclement weather conditions. If weather is inclement, please call ahead to make sure we are open.
